日本金星探测器“拂晓”号抵达金星上空的模拟图

  环球网记者王欢报道 据日本共同社12月6日消息,2010年5月21日发射升空的日本宇宙航空研究开发机构的金星探测器“拂晓”号将结束200天的旅途于7日上午进入环绕金星的轨道。

  报道称,这将是日本首次发射探测器环绕地球以外的行星,相关人士对此充满了紧张和期待。

  据日本宇航机构介绍,“拂晓”号将于7日上午9点前后抵达金星上空550公里处,然后启动引擎12分钟,让其反向喷射以减缓速度,并利用金星的重力进入环绕轨道。届时“拂晓”号距地球约6300万公里,单程通讯需要约3分半钟,因此“拂晓”号将根据预先从地球发去的程序自行调整仪器。

  日本宇航机构的项目经理中村正人称这是飞行中最关键的一环,并表示:“机会只有一次。一旦失败就会与金星擦身而过。”若顺利进入环绕轨道,未来还将分2次修正轨道,于13日进入距金星表面550至8万公里的椭圆形轨道,。

  据悉,在之后2年以上的时间内,“拂晓”号将使用观测仪器对“硫酸云”、“秒速100米的暴风”等金星特有的气象状况展开调查。金星和地球与太阳的距离相近,但却有着显著差异。据称,“拂晓”号若能揭开这个谜题,将有助于人们理解地球环境。
